Why I made HeyTask.

A habit tracker built by one person who loves making software, with no ads and no investors.

Why I made HeyTask

I’ve always been fascinated by software — not just using it, but building it, shaping it, and turning an idea into something people can actually use.

I created HeyTask with a simple belief: good software should be accessible to everyone. You shouldn’t have to pay a premium every month just to organize your day, build better habits, or understand your own progress.

I wanted HeyTask to feel different. Simple, focused and intentional. You plan your day, complete your tasks, build your streak and get a clear picture of how you’re doing. No ads, no unnecessary complexity, and no features added just for the sake of having more.

Privacy is equally important to me. Your tasks, habits and progress are personal. I believe software should respect that. Your data shouldn’t be the price you pay for using a product.

As the creator and founder, I want HeyTask to remain affordable, accessible and genuinely useful — whether you’re a student, a professional, or simply someone who wants to become a little more consistent every day.

I’m building HeyTask because I love software, I love creating things from the ground up, and I believe the best products don’t need to be complicated to make a difference.
