Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use the HeyTask app and website. By creating an account you agree to them.
Your account
You need to be at least 13 to use HeyTask. If you're under 16, please ask a parent or guardian for permission first. You need an account to use HeyTask. Keep your password safe; you're responsible for what happens in your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
Free and Pro
HeyTask is free to use with some limits (up to 15 tasks and 2 groups). HeyTask Pro removes those limits and adds features like the web app, your full history and insights. Pro costs €2.99 per month or €22.99 per year, including VAT. Prices may change; a change never applies to a period you already paid for.
Subscriptions and free trial
- A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
- New Pro users can try Pro free for 7 days. You enter your payment details when the trial starts, but nothing is charged until it ends. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing; you simply go back to the free plan.
- Bought in the iPhone app: payment and renewal are handled by Apple. Manage or cancel it in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Refunds go through Apple.
- Bought on the website: payment is handled by Stripe. You can cancel at any time in Settings on the website.
- If your subscription ends, you don't lose anything: all your tasks and history stay. You just can't add more than the free limits and Pro features are locked until you subscribe again.
- Right of withdrawal (EU): by starting Pro you ask us to begin right away. You can cancel any time; for purchases on the website you can ask for a refund within 14 days by emailing support@heytask.app.
Fair use
Don't misuse HeyTask: no attempts to break or overload the service, to access other people's data or to use it for anything illegal. We may close accounts that do.
Your content
Your tasks and data are yours. We only use them to provide HeyTask to you (see the Privacy Policy).
No guarantees
We work hard to keep HeyTask running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. HeyTask is a tool to help you build habits; it is not medical or professional advice. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect damage or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll update the date at the top and tell you in the app about important changes.
Law
Dutch law applies to these terms.
